On August 10, 2026, Tan Tao University (TTU) solemnly held the 2026 Graduation Ceremony under the theme “16 Years of Knowledge Creation – Stepping Confidently into the Future”, marking a meaningful milestone in the academic and personal journeys of TTU’s new graduates and new doctors as they embark on a new chapter of their lives.

A Solemn and Meaningful Graduation Ceremony

The ceremony was attended by leaders of Tay Ninh Province and representatives of various provincial departments and agencies; Mr. Michael W. Michalak – Member of the TTU Board of Trustees, former U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam (2007–2011), and Vice Chairman of the US-ASEAN Business Council; international professors and experts; as well as representatives from partner educational institutions, hospitals, and businesses.

Representing Tan Tao University were representatives of the University Council, Founding Board, and Board of Executives, including Dr. Nguyen Mai Lam – Provost; Prof. Dr. Thach Nguyen – Vice Provost and Dean of the School of Medicine; Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh – Vice Provost, together with parents, lecturers, and TTU students.

The graduation ceremony was not only an occasion to confer degrees, but also a meaningful moment marking the growth and maturity of a generation of students after years of learning, training, and continuous effort at TTU.

Celebrating Outstanding Achievements

In the solemn atmosphere of the Graduation Ceremony, Tan Tao University presented several awards recognizing students’ outstanding achievements, efforts, and contributions throughout their academic journey.

The TTU President’s Honor Award was presented to new graduate Huynh Van Dong from the School of Information Technology, majoring in Computer Science.

Notably, 2026 marked the first year that the Dang Van Duoc Award was officially announced and awarded by Tan Tao University in collaboration with Tan Tao Group. Established with the aspiration to continue the legacy of nurturing talent and promoting a spirit of academic excellence inspired by the late Mr. Dang Van Duoc, the award recognizes students with outstanding academic achievements, strong determination, a commitment to community service, and the resilience to overcome challenges and pursue success.

New Graduate Nguyen Hoai Duy was the first student to be honored with the Dang Van Duoc Award.

In addition, the Professor Peter Singer's Award, valued at USD 1,000, was presented to two students from the School of Medicine, Nguyen Kim Phu and Doan Khanh Huyen, in recognition of their outstanding achievements and efforts throughout their studies.

One Journey Comes to an End – A New Future Begins

The graduation ceremony was not only an occasion to confer degrees and celebrate outstanding achievements, but also a moment that marked the personal growth of each student after years of learning, training, and perseverance.

It was also an opportunity for the new graduates and new doctors to look back on their journey, appreciate the knowledge, experiences, and values gained during their university years, and prepare themselves to embrace a new chapter filled with opportunities and challenges.
